Marifrances Montell graduated from the University of Oklahoma Hudson College of Public Health in 2018 with her Master of Public Health in Health Promotion Science and is Certified in Public Health (CPH) by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE). She began working early in her career in a clinical setting and transitioned from direct patient services to programmatic evaluation and continues to work in public health as a program manager. Working now at the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board as the TECPHI Program Manager, she focuses on applying her experiences working in hospitals and with local communities to building internal capacity and infrastructure.
