Indian Country PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) ECHO
The Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board, Cherokee Nation, and the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board welcome clinicians serving American Indian and Alaska Native people to participate in our 6 session Indian Country PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) ECHO clinic starting February 14, 2020.
The program provides comprehensive information for clinicians to effectively integrate and improve PrEP services in Indian Health Service, Tribal, and Urban Indian clinics. The 6 session program will offer a free ECHO collaborative to continue learning, knowledge sharing and support as you start integrating PrEP services. Topics include rationale for PrEP, indications and contraindications for PrEP, how to start PrEP, monitoring patients while on PrEP/addressing complications, and recruiting for PrEP candidates. CE will be provided. Participation will be limited to 10-15 clinicians.
