Warrior Down/Recovery Coach Virtual Training

Training is virtual on Zoom. Open to public, however, Cheyenne & Arapaho preference will be exercised for this training.

Purpose: The Warrior Down/Recovery Coach training provides the tools needed to prevent relapse and provide recovery support for Native Americans.

The Warrior Down/Recovery Coach training will assist attendees in providing support and relapse prevention for Native Americans who are completing treatment, are in recovery, or are reintegrating from incarceration. The program focuses on how Native American cultures, traditions, and ceremonies can guide an individual’s recovery process. Individuals in recovery are encouraged to attend.   A webcam and internet access is required to participate in the training.

24 Continuing Education Hours are available through NAADC.

24 Continuing Education Hours are available through Oklahoma State BBHL.

24 Continuing Education Hours are available for PRSS through ODMHSAS.

Training is FREE. Registration is required, with 15 spots available.
