CDC and the HHS Environmental Health Arm Releases New Online Information Resource Specifically for Tribes

The CDC on August 1 launched an updated tribal communities website for Coronavirus Disease 2019. It includes information on contract tracing, tribal funeral and burial practices, caring for children,  multigenerational and shared housing, and social distancing and coping for tribal communities. The site has Frequently Asked Questions for Correctional/Detention Facilities, non-emergency vehicle transportation guidance, safe watering points, tribal seasonal ceremonies and gatherings guidance, cleaning and disinfection guidance, considerations for Casinos and gaming operations, and advice on caring for pets and other animals.
